Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
Welcome to AccLinked
(hereinafter referred to as "the Platform," "we,"
"us," or "our"). The Platform is operated by AccLinked,
registered in the Emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. By accessing or
using the Platform through our website or mobile application, you agree to be
bound by these Terms and Conditions.
"User" means
any natural or legal person who registers on the Platform or uses its services.
"Services" include all products, tools, educational content, cloud
accounting software, professional networking, and employment services offered
through the Platform. "Content" includes all text, images, videos,
educational materials, training courses, articles, and software tools available
on the Platform. "Subscription" means the membership plan selected by
the User (Bronze, Silver, or Gold).
2. Eligibility
Users must be at least
18 years of age to use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant
that you have full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. You are
fully responsible for all activities conducted through your account. If using
the Platform on behalf of an organization or company, you represent that you
are duly authorized to do so.
3. Account Creation and Security
Users must provide
accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. Users are
responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and
password. The Platform must be notified immediately of any unauthorized use of
the account. The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate any
account that violates these Terms without prior notice.
4. Membership Plans and Subscriptions
The Platform offers
three membership plans: Bronze (Free), Silver (AED 99/month), and Gold (AED
249/month). Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing
cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. Users may upgrade or downgrade
between plans at any time, with differences prorated accordingly. Listed prices
are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at 5%, which is added at checkout.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content published
on the Platform, including training courses, articles, software tools, designs,
and logos, is the exclusive property of AccLinked or its licensed content
providers. Copying, distributing, or republishing any content from the Platform
without prior written consent is strictly prohibited. Users are granted a
limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for
personal and professional purposes only.
6. Educational Content and Certificates
The Platform strives to
provide high-quality, up-to-date educational content; however, it does not
guarantee the accuracy or completeness of all information at all times. Course
completion certificates issued by the Platform confirm course completion and do
not equate to official professional certifications (such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA)
unless explicitly stated otherwise. The Platform is not responsible for any
professional or financial decisions made by Users based on educational content.
7. Cloud Accounting Software
The cloud accounting
software is provided "as is" according to the selected subscription
plan. The Platform endeavors to maintain service availability of at least 99.5%
annually, excluding scheduled maintenance periods. Users are responsible for
the accuracy of financial data entered into the system. The Platform is not
liable for errors in tax returns or financial reports resulting from incorrect
data entered by the User.
8. User Conduct
Users agree not to use
the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes. Posting offensive,
discriminatory, misleading content, or content that violates others' rights is
prohibited. Attempting to hack or disrupt the Platform's systems or technical infrastructure
is prohibited. Using automated tools (bots) to collect data or content from the
Platform without permission is prohibited. Impersonating another person or
providing false professional information is prohibited.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent
permitted by law, the Platform shall not be liable for any direct, indirect,
incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to
use the Platform. The Platform's total aggregate liability to any User shall not
exceed the subscription fees paid during the twelve months preceding the event
giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and
Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate
of Sharjah. In the event of any dispute, both parties shall first seek an
amicable resolution within 30 days. If an amicable resolution cannot be
reached, the dispute shall be referred to the competent courts in the Emirate
of Sharjah, UAE. Each party retains the right to seek urgent injunctive relief
from the courts when necessary.
11. Amendments to Terms
The Platform reserves
the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be
notified of any material changes via email or in-platform notification at least
30 days before the amendments take effect. Continued use of the Platform after
amendments constitutes implied acceptance of the updated Terms.
